Turnout, Support and Contributions
Dear Members
Let me thank each and everyone of you
for your show of support and contributions in the wake of the death of fellow
Alumnus Steve kpou. Your participation and support during the wake and funeral
services were overwhelming. I was very excited to see so many of you show up to
pay your last respects to our Brother. This makes me very
proud to be a Tiger. Mrs. Ahmed Kpou and the family extend their thanks and
gratitude to the BWI Family for being there in their time of mourning.
Special thanks go to Dr. Isaac and his committee for spearheading and coordinating efforts with the family and BWINAANA. I am very
grateful to all members of the committee and their efforts in making
sure BWINAANA was represented and participated in the services of our late
Brother. Special thanks also go out to former President Arthur Watson for his steadfast friendship to the Late Alumnus
Kpou during his illness and sticking by the family during his death. The bounds
we establish on BWI are an everlasting one and they are shown in times like
these. Thanks Mr. Watson for being there for a brother, for the family and for
BWI.
I also want to thank the members of Delaware Valley Chapter for welcoming
us with open arms . The mood was one of unity and the
Tiger campus spirit was evidenced in everything we did.
The members recognized our presence as the National and everyone worked
together in the Spirit of love to give our Brother a beautiful Tiger Home Going
Service. I will again tell our brothers and sisters in the Delaware Valley
Chapter that our doors have always been opened and it
is time to come home.
Finally, let me express our thanks and appreciations to the leadership and members of the Liberian Community Association of Philadelphia for all
of their supports and collaborations in working with us to give our late brother
a great farewell. I hope we can work with the LCA in the future to
undertake a project or
program that will be beneficial to the community.
Thanks again for a great turnout and for all of your support and
contributions. You truly show that the Tigers came to Philadelphia
to pay our respects to the family and say
goodbye to our fellow Tiger the Late Alumnus Steve Kpou; May his soul rest in
perfect peace.
